You guys - I cannot tell you how important it is to me that I take me time everyday. Even if I only borrow 10 minutes of my day. I make sure that it happens, for me. So, if I can encourage you to do anything, do it for YOU. That’s Right! Do it for YOU… I can’t stress how important this is. We’ve heard the famous saying that we must place our own oxygen mask on ourselves before assisting our child. This could not be any more true in life!

I believe that in order for us to operate like a high-level human we must recharge our parenting batteries in order to be the best version of ourselves! For me, I’ve noticed that this helps my patience levels with Beckett. I have a calm mind and a calm heart for those more challenging moments. Especially with a 2 year old! & next year we will have a three-nager. So, lots to look forward to… ha! 😅

Being a single Mom I have to be present all of the time. This means time blocking my day, each and every day and carving out the necessary me time for survival.

Some of my regular unwinding activities are: jogging with the stroller, reading inspiring books, writing/journaling, yoga, jazzercise and pilates.
