Step In To The Light

This time has been a uniquely challenging time…. COVID-19 has presented it’s challenges to us and come in many different forms of ugliness.

I have seen, witnessed and also been a victim of suffering during this time period where it appears there is no such thing as “normal” anymore.

Although disappointing, sad, frustrating and disheartening. I refuse to be held down -

Our world continues to present so many beautiful offerings to us.

Have we chosen to only see the darkness in our world and in each other?

This week on Peppa Pig, Beckett and I were watching George & Peppa learn about their shadows and trying to run away from them… The grown-up’s taught the children that no matter how fast you run, you cannot run away from your own shadow. It will always be there.

It’s fun to embrace our shadow because it is a part of us. We can reflect that it will always be a part of who we are.

During this time we have been forced to do many things that we do not want to do. We have been forced to slow down. Things no longer come as easily and we have to be patient in order to receive things that used to come so easily and immediately.

My motto is, step lightly, into the future, almost weightlessly moving forward as to not forget where we have been, where we are now and where we are going. With an everlasting smile, albeit maybe through a mask, it’s so refreshing to look ahead and twinkle despite all!

Life is too great and the powerful force of the earth’s magnitude will continue to propel you forward with a momentum that cannot be stopped.
