Quiet Time

Little B & Me

Now, I know we’ve talked briefly about quiet time and how it is basically chicken soup for the soul.

For me, over the last year, quiet time has allowed me to reflect where I have been and where I am today.

Life is a journey and we have so many pillars of support around us. If we just look to find the bright spots in each day, I feel this naturally allows us to see all the things we have to be grateful for. Rather than people just telling us what we should be grateful for.

I think when gratitude comes from within, we as people, shine outward. It is a mediation or daily devotion, if you will, of what our life could have been versus how it authentically is.

A quiet reminder to stay present and trust God and the universe - where we are in life and why.

I found that my quiet times are not limited to: jogging with Beckett in the stroller, reading, writing, listening to podcasts, taking lavender epsom salt baths and I listen to jazz music, my fave is Michael Buble.

These things are all my bright spots - I make a conscious decision to focus on these things.

Essentially, each day, we make a choice - To feel complete and treat ourselves, others and our little ones as whole people.
